Being on vacation doesn’t mean that you can’t get an additional workout in between excursions. If you are signed up with a gym back home, be sure to check out if they have any chains near your vacation rental home before your trip to ensure easier access and planning for gym times. But for those who are either not signed up for a gym, or your gym is not located near your vacation rental, here are some quick trails and community centers to run a lap or two and play a quick game of hoops.

Myrtle Edwards Park: Jogging along the waterfront provides an exquisite site to see. Running in the mornings is suggested if you want to check this site out. You will also get to run right through the Olympic Sculpture Park which gives you a stunning view of contemporary artwork from local artists.

Discovery Park: Seattle’s largest public park, this park offers 11.8 miles of trails in wooded and open areas. A must-see park for spying hundreds of species of birds and diverse wildlife along your run.

Seattle offers more than 200+ athletic fields and 151 tennis courts for you to get in a quick game during your stay. Here is a link to find a park near your vacation rental with the facilities that you seek.
