Here are a few events and festivals in Seattle Washington you won’t want to miss out on when you visit.

Spring: Seattle Cherry Blossom and Japanese Cultural Festival

Don’t assume that the Cherry Blossom Festival is exclusive to Washington D.C. When April rolls around, the city of Seattle sets aside three days to celebrate the 1,000 beautiful blooms gifted 40-years ago to the city by the government of Japan. While the Cherry Trees are fun to admire on their own, the celebration doesn’t stop there. Guests can enjoy several days of performances, exhibits, food and art demonstrations that honor the Japanese culture during the festival.
