Art Walks in Seattle
Seattle is a place of natural beauty and man-made, too. Every month, local artists and galleries unite to display their works of art for all to see. Art walks in Seattle allow you to check out upcoming artists, indulge in delicious food, and enjoy great company all while checking out local hot spots. Whether you have money to spend or just want to enjoy the scene, exploring an art walk is a fun way to make the most of your time in Seattle.
Many art walks are done on the second Saturday of the month, but there are always new shows and galleries emerging, so the list is constantly expanding. These art walks are all free and self-guided. Visit Seattle Artists for more information on all art walks.
Here is a list of art walks not on second Saturday that are currently happening this year:
Fremont First Fridays
Wallingford Art Walk
Blitz: Capitol Hill’s Art Walk
Not just for galleries, museums in Seattle are hopping on the first Thursday boat. Here is a list of museums that are free to the public on the first Thursday of each month:
On the third Thursday of each month, the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington offers free admission from 5pm-8pm. On the first Friday of each month from 10am-9pm, the Bellevue Arts Museum does the same.
