A well-curated List of the Best Brunches in Seattle

Everyone loves brunch. It’s the perfect blend of breakfast and lunch plus there’s often booze involved. All that, and it’s timed to work perfectly with either leisurely or busy weekend plans. Bruch is truly the best of both worlds!
Of course your Seattle vacation rental home has a great kitchen, but you’re on vacation so put cooking on the back burner and go check out some of Seattle’s best brunch spots.

Westward
2501 North Northlake Way
Fifth in Bon Appetit’s Hot Ten best new restaurants in America for 2014, Westward is an approachable, all-day restaurant that also serves a killer weekend brunch. It has a sprawling outdoor area with casual picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, a fire pit, and a breath-taking lakeside view. Tasty nibbles, smaller plates, and grand main dishes plus a fresh oyster bar, too.

Harbor City Restaurant
707 S King Street
Dim sum anyone? This hot spot is located in the International District and is on everyone’s list of favorites. Great solo but even better in a group, the happiness of roving dim sum carts let you sample to your heart’s content and isn’t that what brunch is all about? Dumplings galore!

6412 Latona Ave N
What starts with house-made jam on complimentary scones and ends with happy customers? Brunch at this bakery and charcuterie space! They make their products using locally sourced produce, meat, and dairy. House hash, friend chicken fritters, carnitas, and more elevate their brunch to a higher standard. Brunch happens each Saturday and Sunday.

Stoneburner
5214 Ballard Avenue NW
Located at the ground floor of the new Hotel Ballard, this sweet spot made the top of Seattle Met’s best of brunch list. All the classic goodies and an entire pizza list on the weekend brunch menu? Yes, please! If the breakfast pizza with house-made bacon doesn’t get your wood-burning belly stove going, there’s always the roasted heirloom carrot with horseradish. Spicy!

RockCreek Seafood and Spirits
4300 Fremont Avenue N, Fremont
This fresh fish haven has a lot going for it, including its Seattle-famous bacon oyster benedict. They layer buttery brioche with crunchy, breaded oysters and perfect bacon, then top it with a lemony Old Bay-laden hollandaise to make a fine tribute to the Pacific Northwest. Fresh caught fish, smart menu items, and a rockin’ bar list make this weekend brunch spot a winner.
