Just a few blocks from Puget Sound and the water front shops, this vacation condo is convenient to everything in Downtown Seattle. Some of the finest restaurants are very close, and the convention center, sports arenas and Space Needle are all within range of a short taxi ride or the downtown free bus service. A two year old building, perfectly situated to enjoy views of the mountains, the sound, and the city. Seattle Oasis Vacations offers any guest the full comfort of a hotel, with the exclusivity of a private condominium.
To be clear, this building does NOT have air conditioning (almost NO buildings-less than 5%- in Seattle have central air conditioning). Also, be aware that this is a urban environment. In any urban core, you can expect to hear street noise, often late into the evening. If a silent outdoor environment is important to you, downtown Seattle (or any big city for that matter) may not be the best place for you to stay. That being said, this unit in the heart of Seattle--walkable to all the best Seattle has to offer-- and has high quality, noise muffling windows and heavy duty construction. Any questions about this, ask! We want our guests to be happy.
The amenities were great! Loved the rooftop! The location was perfect - we could walk anywhere we wanted to go.
The best thing about the accommodations is that stunning view of the cityscape. I'm a writer and found it very inspiring. Then, there's the decor of the apartment, modern sheik yet comfortable. I love the dark hardwood floors and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything you need is right there in the apartment. The only drawback is the person upstairs stomping on the floor for a few hours a day. I think he or she is doing a work out and it can get quite monotonous. But truthfully, the view beyond my window reminds me that this is downtown living and the noise becomes okay. Other great things are the bakery around the corner on 2nd street, the pizza place not too far from the bakery. You're able to travel on feet and really explore. Queen anne and Lake Union are not far at all! It was the perfect stay!
Nice location and a fairly quiet building. Having the appliances were nice. Washer/dryer was nice. Room was a little smaller than what it appeared online. And the "food available in the kitchen" mentioned online was nonexistent. Plus, I felt that more towels/washcloths could have been provided. I had to do laundry three times during a one week stay. Bottom line was that it was basically nice. I just think that I could have found a place of equal quality for a lot less money. I will see about that one my next trip to Seattle. Thank you though for a pleasant stay and for high-quality sleep at night.
Dear Guest, I am sorry if there was a miscommunication, however we do not leave food products other than spices (spice rack), oil, vinegar, starter coffee, creamer etc in any of our units. We do this as in our opinion there's nothing worse than having a fridge (or cupboards) full of items that no one knows the history of, and see that as being liability rather than an asset. We do not advertise anywhere "food available in the kitchen" we do say our kitchens are fully stocked with equipment (pots and pans, dish towels, utensils for the BBQ, glassware, etc. but other than the limited items we have in the welcome basket we do not keep perishable food items in our condos. As for towels, in addition to the two bath towels we have hanging ready for use, and the three hand towels, we also have towels in the drawers of the bathroom vanity. I'm sorry you did not find them, or call us if you didn't find what we provided as sufficient. Just this week we had a guest
